What's in a Name?

Snazzy. Webster's online dictionary defines it as conspicuously or flashily attractive. And while Will and Ian's dog certainly is that, I had hoped to convince them to change his name. Maybe something literary like Atticus or Huck would suit him. (David suggested Argos since my students had just finished reading an excerpt of The Odyssey.) I could even picture him as a Claus or a Hans. But Snazzy?!? It looks like the name will stick, though. (The boys are stubborn:-) So I thought I'd dress him up with a bandanna, so he'd look the part. And I've taken to calling him Fancy.
